Srinagar, May 21 -- Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested five drug peddlers including wanted heroin suppliers in Anantnag, Baramulla and Ganderbal and recovering contraband substances from their possession.
A police spokesperson informed that one Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar alias Christian, and a resident of Nanil, Anantnag was arrested at Chechripora Bypass Crossing after contraband - apparently heroin-like substance - was recovered from his possession.
At Zero Morh Daragutlian (Uri) in Baramulla, five charas-like sticks wrapped in corn husk were recovered from the possession of Faisal Ahmed Khan of Daragutlian, who was also arrested.
