Srinagar, April 26 -- Police have arrested 11 drug peddlers in various parts of valley and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
A police spokesperson informed that in Anantnag, police arrested Mohammad Yousuf Hajam of Panchalthan Chatergul at Tanjmulla Chatergul crossing and recovered 1.6 kg of cannabis powder-like substance from his possession.
One Akash Ahmad Dar of Bun Mohalla Anchidora was arrested after 26 grams of cannabis-like substance wrapped in cloth was recovered from him.
At Panzmulla, police arrested Shabir Ahmad Shah of Halwani Ganiegund along with 78 grams of cannabis powder and 9 grams of cannabis pieces.
