Srinagar, Nov. 3 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir, on Monday chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the existing security arrangements in Srinagar and adjoining districts and discuss measures to further strengthen the security grid under the winter security strategy.

The meeting was held at Cargo in Srinagar and was attended by Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of Central Kashmir Range (CKR) and South Kashmir Range (SKR), besides Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) of Srinagar, Budgam, Ganderbal, Pulwama and Awantipora. Concerned Zonal Superintendents of Police and the SSP, Special Operations Group (SOG), also attended the meeting.
