SRINAGAR, Aug. 19 -- Police in Anantnag have booked a "notorious fraudster" under the provisions of the Public Safety Act (PSA).
Pursuant to the PSA warrant issued by the District Magistrate, Anantnag, against the detenue Tasaduq Hussain Dar of Sadoora, Anantnag, police arrested Dar and he was subsequently apprehended by Anantnag Police. Following the prescribed legal formalities, the detenue has been lodged in District Jail, Bhaderwah, under the PSA.
Police reiterated its commitment to taking stringent legal action against individuals involved in activities that disturb public order and cause harm to the general public.
