On April 2, 2026, Prime Minister Takaichi visited Astroscale Holdings Inc., a space startup company in Tokyo, together with H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic.
After receiving a briefing on on-orbit servicing, including space debris removal, the two leaders exchanged views.
