On April 27, the second meeting of the Expert Panel on the Implementation Framework for Strategic Development Cooperation was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the outset of the meeting, Professor Koichiro Agata of Waseda University, who chairs the panel, stated that he wished to further deepen discussions at this meeting. This followed up on suggestions made by panel members at the previous meeting regarding the necessity of identifying current challenges in the implementation system of development cooperation, while also taking into account the future direction of development cooperation to be discussed by the panel.
