THE JPO HOLDS BILATERAL MEETINGS WITH PARTNER OFFICES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ASSEMBLIES OF THE MEMBER STATES OF WIPO

TOKYO, July 23 -- Japan Patent Office issued the following press release:

Commissioner KASAI Yasuyuki and Deputy Commissioner YASUDA Futoshi met with representatives from IP offices and other related parties from over 20 countries and regions*1 as part of their participation in the 66th Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of WIPO held in Geneva, Switzerland. At this time, the JPO confirmed its continued cooperation on intellectual property administration with individual offices, with whom information on recent initiatives. The JPO also signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the INPI (France) in the field of intellectual property.
