On October 22, commencing at 5:50 p.m. for approximately 30 minutes, Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Oleksii SOBOLEV, Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, who is visiting Japan to attend the Ukraine Mine Action Conference (UMAC 2025). The overview of the meeting is as follows:
Minister MOTEGI stated that Japan's stance that "Japan stands with Ukraine" remained consistent and would not change. He stated thet Japan would continue to work tirelessly, in close coordination with the international community and the G7, toward achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
