TOKYO, July 8 -- Japan Patent Office issued the following news:
The Japan Patent Office (JPO) participated in the 148th Annual Meeting of the International Trademark Association (INTA) *1, which was held between May 2 and 6 in London, England. The meeting is one of the largest global trademark events with this year's meeting attracting more than 10,000 intellectual property experts from 145 countries.
As part of the JPO-led TM5*2 project*3, a workshop was held on the theme of "Comparison of Composite Marks in a Likelihood of Confusion Analysis", during which presentations were given by each of the TM5 offices.
