On April 15, commencing at 8:30 p.m. for 30 minutes, Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a telephone call with H.E. Dr. Seyyed Abbas ARAGHCHI, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
At the outset, Minister MOTEGI stated that it is very meaningful that he and Foreign Minister Araghchi are continuing very close communication, and that what matters most is that the ceasefire is maintained and that de-escalation, including ensuring the safety of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, is steadily achieved.
