TOKYO, April 28 -- Ministry of the Environment issued the following news:

Japan-Canada Dialogue on Climate and Environment between ISHIHARA Hirotaka, Minister of the Environment of Japan, and Ms. Julie Dabrusin, Minister of the Environment, Climate Change and Nature of Canada 1. On April 24, 2026, on the occasion of the G7 Environment Ministers' Meeting held in Paris, France, the Japan-Canada Dialogue on Climate and Environment was held between ISHIHARA Hirotaka Ishihara, Minister of the Environment of Japan, and Ms. Julie Dabrusin. During the dialogue, they exchanged views on a wide range of environmental issues, including climate change, biodiversity, and plastic pollution.
