On October 21, 2025, the Takaichi Cabinet was inaugurated.
After a meeting of the ruling parties' leaders at the Prime Minister's Office, Mr. KIHARA Minoru, the new Chief Cabinet Secretary, announced the list of Cabinet members. Afterwards, the investiture ceremony for the Prime Minister and the certification ceremony for the Ministers were held at the Imperial Palace, marking the inauguration of the Takaichi Cabinet.
