On April 10, commencing at 05:30 p.m., for approximately 30 minutes, Mr. HORII Iwao, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by Senator Jim Banks, United States, who is visiting Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows:
State Minister HORII welcomed the Senator Banks's visit to Japan and stated the importance of multi-layered people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, including between congressional and diet members, which have supported the ever-stronger Japan-U.S. Alliance.
