TOKYO, Aug. 20 -- Joint Staff issued the following press release:
At around 9:00 a.m., Thursday, August 14, 2025, JMSDF spotted RFN
Vishnya-class AGI 1 (hull number 208) sailing westward in the
waters approximately 50 km northeast of Cape Shiriya.
The RFN AGI continued to sail westward through Tsugaru Strait into
the Sea of Japan from August 14 to 15.
This is the same vessel that sailed eastward through Tsugaru Strait
from August 9 to 10, 2025.
JMSDF assets monitored the activities of the vessel.
