Lesotho, Aug. 24 -- BAM Group Foundation (BGF), the implementing partner for the Women and Youth Democratic Engagement (WYDE) project in Lesotho, has officially announced the Right Honorable Tlohang Sekhamane, Speaker of the National Assembly, as the Champion of "Men as Allies" in WYDE during a media briefing held on July 21 in the National Assembly boardroom. 'Men as Allies' is a component within the Project programs, made up of men who support women empowerment.
The official ceremony held at the National Assembly premises, also included the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to Hon. Sekhamane in recognition of his acceptance of the "Men as Allies" championship role in WYDE.
