Lesotho, Aug. 13 -- When Ntsiuoa Makoae walked into a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) entrepreneurship training in 2015, she had no idea it would change the course of her life. Born and raised in Quthing, and trained as a teacher at the National University of Lesotho (NUL), she was already juggling side hustles.

But the programme opened her eyes to an evident gap in Lesotho's market, a country full of dairy lovers but almost entirely dependent on imports from South Africa (SA).

Today, Makoae's company, Boiphihlelo (Pty) Ltd, produces yoghurt, sour milk, cheese, butter, and juices, supplying guesthouses, caterers, and households across the country.
