Lesotho, Jan. 7 -- Cash flow remains the silent killer of small businesses, with studies showing that majority of small enterprises collapse because they cannot manage the movement of money effectively. Economic leadership expert Khotso Mahoko says many entrepreneurs underestimate the importance of tracking cash as closely as sales.
"Cash flow is the real movement of money in and out of your business," Mahoko explains. "It is not profits on paper. You may show a profit on your books, but if you don't have the cash to pay salaries, suppliers, or rent when it's due, your business can fail overnight."
