Lesotho, Oct. 7 -- Speaking during Lesotho's 60th Independence celebrations at Setsoto Stadium, His Majesty King Makhosetive Dlamini, Mswati III of Eswatini reflected on the long-standing relationship between the two neighboring kingdoms, describing the milestone as evidence of a nation whose strength is deeply rooted in its culture, traditions and unity.

"Diamond Jubilee is more than a date on the calendar. It is proof of the required strength and enduring spirit of the Basotho people," His Majesty said. The Eswatini monarch recalled his previous visit to the same stadium in 2023, when he joined Basotho in celebrating His Majesty King Letsie III.
