Lesotho, Sept. 8 -- For women running small businesses in Lesotho and beyond, access to markets, finance and credible business information can mean the difference between remaining small and building an enterprise capable of creating jobs.
That was the central message emerging from the FINITE Entrepreneurship Summit, where businesswomen from Lesotho, Botswana, Zambia and South Africa said the gathering gave them practical tools, new connections and a clearer understanding of what it takes to grow sustainable businesses.
Held as part of BAM Group Foundation's Women's Month programme, the summit brought entrepreneurs face-to-face with institutions and private-sector players that have a direct influence on the growth of small businesses.
