Lesotho, Sept. 30 -- China and Lesotho have reaffirmed their longstanding friendship and commitment to stronger cooperation as the People's Republic of China marks its 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, with education, trade, agriculture and investment among the areas receiving renewed attention.

The anniversary, which commemorates the founding of the People's Republic of China on October 1, 1949, was marked in Maseru with Chinese Ambassador to Lesotho Yang Xiaokun highlighting the growing relationship between the two countries and the opportunities for deeper cooperation.
