India, July 28 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
Under Section 16 of the Viksit Bharat - Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Gramin): VB-G RAM G Act, 2025, every Gram Panchayat is required to prepare a Viksit Gram Panchayat Plan (VGPP) through a participatory planning process. The Gram Sabha identifies and prioritises the permissible works required for the holistic development of the Gram Panchayat, and the Gram Panchayat prepares the VGPP in accordance with the provisions of the Act. The approved VGPP is thereafter consolidated at the Intermediate and District Panchayat levels for preparation of the aggregate Block and District Plans under the Mission.
