NAINITAL, India, Feb. 24 -- Uttarakhand High Court issued the following judgment/order on JAN. 22:
1. By means of the present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners seek issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing respondent nos. 1, 2 and 3 to provide adequate security and protection to the petitioners and to ensure that respondent nos. 4 to 7 do not harass, threaten, or cause any interference in the life and liberty of the petitioners in any manner whatsoever.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State of Uttarakhand.
