A significant milestone in the expansion of rail connectivity in the Vindhya region of Madhya Pradesh is set to be achieved on 24 October 2026. Hon'ble Union Minister for Railways Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw and Hon'ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the Satna-Devendra Nagar (53 km) and Rewa-Churhat (65 km) rail sections, covering a total of 118 kilometres of railway line. The new Devendra Nagar-Churhat train service will also be flagged off on the occasion.
