India, June 29 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon'ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Law and Justice, today launched the "Fresh Application Module" on the existing Notary Portal for inviting online applications for appointment as Notary Public under the provisions of the Notaries Act, 1952 and the Notaries Rules, 1956.
The newly launched module enables eligible legal practitioners/advocates to submit applications online through the Notary Portal. Developed by the Department of Legal Affairs in association with the National Informatics Centre (NIC), the module is designed to make the application process more transparent, efficient and citizen-friendly.
