Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah today replied to the discussion in the Lok Sabha on the no-confidence motion against the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. The Lok Sabha rejected the no-confidence motion by voice vote, after discussion. Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation said that this is not an ordinary event, and that a no-confidence motion against the Speaker of the Lok Sabha has come after nearly four decades. He said that this is an unfortunate incident for parliamentary politics and the House.
