India, Sept. 30 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav, today launched the Guidelines for implementation of National Coastal Mission (NCM 2.0), in New Delhi.
This Central Sector Scheme, with an approved outlay of Rs.767 crore, would be implemented till 2030-31 across nine coastal States and four Union Territories of the country. The scheme aims at strengthening the resilience and sustainability of India's coastal regions and unlocking the potential of Blue economy. It would be implemented through active participation and collaboration with coastal States/ UTs and stakeholders.
