A high-level inter-ministerial review meeting was held today at Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi, to implement crop residue (stubble) management in mission mode during the ongoing paddy harvesting season. The meeting was co-chaired by Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, and Rural Development Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav.
