AGARTALA, India, Feb. 24 -- Tripura High Court issued the following order/judgement on Jan. 22:
Heard learned counsel of both sides.
During hearing, Mr. Prabal Kumar Ghosh, learned counsel for the applicant submits that he is not pressing the petition. Accordingly, the bail application is rejected as not pressed.
Mr. Ghosh, learned counsel, however, further submits that the accused Omnath Yadav is suffering from certain medical issues including malfunctioning of prostate gland and there are only five numbers of witnesses cited in the charge sheet. In that circumstance, trial may be expedited as the accused persons are in custody.
Considered the submission.
