Replying to a question in Lok Sabha today the Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Shri Durgadas Uikey informed that the Ministry of Tribal Affairs implements Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Vikas Mission (PMJVM) scheme through Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited (TRIFED) for livelihood generation of the tribal beneficiaries across the country. Under the scheme, TRIFED is engaged in generating livelihood opportunities for tribal communities through marketing development of the tribal products produced by them which include handicraft, handloom & natural and food products.
