The Union Government has released XV FC Grants during FY. 2025-26, for Panchayati Raj Institutions/ Rural Local Bodies in Assam. It entails 2nd installment of untied grants of the financial year 2025-26 amounting to Rs.256.60 crores. These funds are for all eligible 27 District Panchayats (DPs), all eligible 182 Block Panchayats (BPs), all eligible 2192 Gram Panchayats (GPs) and all eligible 3 Autonomous District Councils (ADCs) namely Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC) in the State of Assam.
