India, March 13 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
STATEMENT ON "PROJECTS APPROVED UNDER NLM-EDP"
(a) The Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India is implementing the National Livestock Mission - Entrepreneurship Development Programme (NLM-EDP) from financial year 2021-22. Under this programme, 50% of the capital cost with ceiling of Rs.50.00 lakh as capital subsidy is provided directly to the beneficiary. The beneficiary arranges the remaining cost of the project through bank loan (10% margin money is compulsory) or through own contributions. Till date in Dharmapuri district, 2 sheep and 2 goat projects (total 4 projects) have been approved. Total project cost approved is Rs.161 lakh. Total capit...
