The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has remembered Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan on his birth anniversary, noting that his appeal transcended generations and inspired people to believe that public life could be an instrument of national renewal.
The Prime Minister also highlighted Loknayak JP's fearless voice during the Emergency and his commitment to good governance and reaching the marginalised sections of society.
Shri Modi said that the nation remains committed to fulfilling his ideals while working towards building a Viksit Bharat.
