The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) organised the first Pre-Release Consultative Workshop on the Base Revision of GDP, CPI and IIP on 26 November 2025 at, Mumbai. The workshop aimed to brief key stakeholders on the proposed revisions ahead of the release of the new series next year.
The event brought together around 160 participants from international organisations, the Reserve Bank of India, leading economists, financial sector experts, academics, senior statisticians and officials from Central and State Governments.
