ORISSA HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON MANJULATA PANDA V/S STATE OF ODISHA & ORS.

CUTTACK, India, May 19 -- Orissa High Court issued the following order on April 17:

1. The Petitioner, in the present petition, seeks quashing of the FIR No.329 of 2021 dated 11.10.2021 corresponding to CT Case No.869 of 2021 pending before the learned JMFC, Balasore.

2. The brief facts of the case are as follows: i. The Petitioner is the mother of Opposite Party No.3. The Opposite Party No.2 and the Opposite Party No.3 got married each other on 04.02.2018 at Balasore under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

ii. At the time of solemnization of the marriage, the Opposite Party No.2 was employed as Lecturer in the Government Polytechnic College, Balasore at Remuna where she continues to be employed even today. ...
