On Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan's appeal, members of Vriksh Mitra Parivar to undertake plantation drive across the country on the auspicious occasion of 'Hariyali Amavasya'; over 50,000 saplings to be planted

India, Aug. 11 -- The Government of India has issued a release:

Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, and Rural Development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will undertake a plantation drive on Wednesday, August 12, on the auspicious occasion of 'Hariyali Amavasya', along with hundreds of colleagues at the PBG Ground, Central Range, near Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi. At the same time, thousands of members across the country associated with Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan's Vriksh Mitra Abhiyan will also undertake plantation drives in their respective villages and cities in response to his appeal.
