Beyond power generation, atomic energy supports healthcare, agriculture, food preservation, industry, scientific research and clean hydrogen production. Through the SHANTI Act, 2025, the Nuclear Energy Mission for Viksit Bharat and indigenous technologies, India is expanding nuclear energy as a safe, sustainable and future-ready pillar of national development.
