India, Aug. 7 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
The Government has informed the Rajya Sabha that there is no proposal at present to establish integrated drug de-addiction and vocational training centres in the Jammu region.
Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri B.L. Verma, in a written reply to Shri Sat Paul Sharma in the Rajya Sabha, stated that the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir presently has one Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA) and six District De-addiction Centres (DDACs) functioning as rehabilitation centres.
