Northern Coalfields Limited ( NCL ) , a Government of India subsidiary based in Singrauli , is continuously promoting sustainable and inclusive development in Singrauli , Sonbhadra and surrounding areas through its CSR initiatives .
In particular , over the past 12 years , NCL has accomplished significant social welfare initiatives . CSR expenditures were Rs. 39 crore in 2013-14 , significantly increasing to Rs. 146 crore in 2025-26 .
