The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) organised a cleanliness drive (Shramdaan) at Transport Bhawan, New Delhi, today, as part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 campaign. The initiative was undertaken under the campaign's 'Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath' call for collective participation in cleanliness activities.
The Swachhata Hi Seva campaign is being observed from September 17 to October 2, 2026, with the objective of promoting voluntarism and fostering collective action towards cleanliness. The theme of this year's campaign is 'Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat'.
