India, March 16 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has released the revised estimates of Consumer Price Index (CPI), based on 2024100, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP), based on 2022-23, on 12th February, 2026 and 27th February, 2026 respectively. With regard to base revision of Index of Industrial Production (IIP), it is planned to release the revised estimates based on 2022-23 in May, 2026.
National Industrial Classification (NIC) is maintained and periodically updated by the MoSPI in alignment with the corresponding International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC) maintained by the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD). The N...
