SHILLONG, India, May 1 -- Meghalaya High Court issued the following judgment/order on April 1:

1. Mr. R.Pahsyntiew, learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset has prayed that the matter can be closed at this stage to allow the writ petitioner to avail alternate remedy as provided under the Meghalaya State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Redressal of Consumer Grievances & Electricity Ombudsman) Regulations, 2017.

2. The same is not objected to by the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. Matter accordingly stands closed and disposed of by giving liberty to the writ petitioner to resort to alternate remedy.
