SHILLONG, India, April 6 -- Meghalaya High Court issued the following judgment/order on March 5:
1. This is an application filed by the writ petitioner for impleadment of the State respondents, namely, the State of Meghalaya, represented by the Chief Secretary, and the Department of Law, Government of Meghalaya, represented by its Secretary.
2. The same is not objected to by the learned counsel for the respondents.
3. Accordingly, the said two respondents shall stand impleaded as respondents No. 4 & 5.
4. Misc. case is allowed.
5. Registry to make the necessary additions in the cause title.
6. Copy of the writ petition to be served upon the State counsel.
