JABALPUR, India, Nov. 16 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Oct. 15:
1. Corpus has appeared before us. It is contended by the Corpus that he was taken in custody by Madhya Pradesh Police and kept in a hotel and detained without therebeing a formal arrest. It is further stated that he was assaulted while in police custody and thereafter released from custody. It is stated by the Corpus that he was assaulted in Police Control Room, Seoni. Further, it is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that there is a threat to the Corpus and prays that appropriate direction be issued to State to provide police protection to the Corpus so that he can travel back to his home at Jalna (Maharashtra). home at Jalna...
