RANCHI, India, Dec. 14 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Nov. 13:

1. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned punishment order is an appealable order. He submits that the Departmental Appeal can be filed before the Appellate Authority.

2. Counsel for the State also admits that the impugned punishment order is appealable in nature.

3. In view of the aforesaid submissions, I direct the petitioner to file an appeal within a period of six weeks from today. If such appeal is filed, the Appellate Authority will consider the appeal on merits and will pass a reasoned and speaking order, considering all the points which have been raised in the appeal, as early as possible.
