JHARKHAND HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON RAVI RANJAN KUMAR V/S THE STATE OF JHARKHAND AND ANR.

RANCHI, India, June 16 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 14:

1. Heard learned counsels for petitioner and for State.

2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Petarbar P.S.Case No.150 of 2025, for offence registered under section 82(2), 85 and 3(5) of BNS, 2023 and Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in court of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bermo at Tenughat.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the informant happened to be the cousin sister of this petitioner and she has alleged that the petitioner is husband of the informant.
