In a major step towards strengthening India's critical mineral security and promoting a circular economy, the Ministry of Mines has completed the eligibility assessment under the Incentive Scheme for Promotion of Critical Mineral Recycling, with 58 companies approved as eligible for participation.

The Scheme, with a total outlay of Rs.1,500 crore under the National Critical Mineral Mission, was notified on 2nd October 2025, along with the issuance of detailed operational guidelines.
