The fifth year of Har Ghar Tiranga has brought the Tiranga closer to millions of Indians, with people across the country coming together to hoist the National Flag, join Tiranga Yatras, sing Vande Mataram, create rangolis, take part in bike and cycle rallies, organise cultural programmes and find their own ways to express their love for the nation.
Observed from 9 to 17 August 2026, this year carries a special significance as India marks 150 years of the National Song, Vande Mataram.
