India, Sept. 11 -- The Government of India issued the following news release:
A one-day Workshop for Media Nodal Officers (MNOs) Social Media Nodal Officers (SMNOs), of CEO offices of 36 States/UTs will take place on September 12, 2025 in New Delhi. Chief Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar will inaugurate the workshop in the presence of Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi.
The Workshop aims to emphasize that elections in India are held as per the Constitution and underline the importance of communicating the legal, factual and rule-based information in a timely and in a coordinated manner.
