India, April 15 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences and Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, has proposed to establish the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) as a nodal institute for developing Artificial Intelligence capabilities among public sector officials and developing curriculum for AI-driven "Smart Governance", a significant step towards institutionalizing technology-based administrative reforms in India.
