India, July 31 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
As per the Drugs (Prices Control) Amendment Order, 2026 notified by the Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP) vide S.O. 3516 (E) dated 30th June 2026, any existing manufacturer producing the same new drug formulation whose retail price has been notified by NPPA in preceding twelve months is required to follow the same retail price and intimate to NPPA under Form-1A within one month from the date of launch. Form-1A does not mandate registering the production lines or batches by the domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers.
